Distributor question

How can I tell the difference between a Bosch and a Marelli distributor without pulling it out of the engine? My car is a 72T. The number on the distributor is 030.

The Marelli has a much "taller" cap. Look at the attached pictures of Marelli distributors and compare them to yours.

Hope this helps SmileWavy

Yup, mine is a Bosch then. Now I can order the correct Ignitor for it. Tired of points. Thanks for everything.

I've got an extra marelli dizzy if someone needs it. Even has the cap, rotor and points :D
David,
Are those your cap and rotor?

No, they are from Ebay. I saw them today looking around Ebay and when I saw this post, I figured a picture was worth a thousand words!
