1986 coupe here in Missouri, just moving from Texas...actually was lucky enough to live in Newmarket (Suffolk) for a few years and loved it.

Welcome!

Erik

EDIT: ..."Happy" Christmas as you guys like to say

I hope your car isn’t one of those defective ones with the steering wheel on the wrong side.

We can offer advice on how to fix that. It won’t be cheap, but nothing really is with these cars.

Welcome.

I think that in a few years we will be saying this to you as currently 43% of the World’s population drive on the same side as us….. Think India, Australia, NZ, Japan, Indonesia (fourth largest in the World), South Africa, Thailand and many more.

97% of that 43% RHD countries currently drive motorcycles (India)

In reality, about 90% of the world's cars are left-hand drive (LHD), which is typical in countries that drive on the right side of the road.

Anyway, us Americans have an infatuation with RHD drive cars and we are seeing more and more at local car shows. I personally love them and would love to have a true original RHD 911.

When I met Magnus Walker at Luft 4? he drove his RHD turbo in that day. Of course he is an insufferable Brit from shefield (sic) ;-)

To the OP, welcome and post a pic of that 85!

All fair points but why let facts get in the way of a good story……
