Parcel shelf

Are there any shops that restore rear parcel shelves? I own a 74 Targa.

Thanks

Ron from Indiana

Did you replace the board? Mine is black but I have a serious hump on center of glass side.

I bought a complete new one from World Upholstery a couple years ago and it was well done. Note that the rear deck is attached to the seat back wall, so you get both parts.

I don’t remember the cost.

Thanks a bunch. I’ll check them out.

And I used a heat gun to carefully "remold" the plastic trim around the shelf.

You might try Classic 9 in Dearborn Heights, MI. They are doing my visors now and seem to specialize in Pcar stuff.

Seconded. They do some very high quality work and are trusted with unique cars. They've also done some for my little car, the headliner, seats (standard to sport with matching hannibal grey leather), the parcel shelf and sunroof liner. Prices were always very fair considering the work they can do, and Rod the owner takes time to talk with clients big and small.

Thankfully they're just a half hour from my house so I could poke around--last time I was in there there was a full carbon Alfa Romeo restomod (I can't remember the model) for customer upholstery, as well as a Dutchmann 911, not to mention a whole host of other classics.

Looks like they may have gone out of business. Website is down and internet chatter seems to verify.

Appbiz sells a fiberglass version of the rear parcel shelf. They also sell through pelican but I don't see the shelf listed.
