911 Badge Placement

Can somebody measure the 911SC badge placement on their decklid? I haven't put my back on since being painted and the painter filled the holes. Probably just need the vertical dimension as I assume it's perfectly centered.

Can't help with the measurement, but mine did the same.
Check for indents on the underside and try a small magnetic pick-up tool with tape over it(bondo isn't metal).

3 & 3/8" to the bottom of badge, 6 & 1/8" to the top of the badge from the bottom edge of my hood in the dark with the flashlight in my mouth. :o

pschrup, Is this on a decklid with a tail? It seems kind of low on the lid. I guess I should have mentioned mine doesn't have a tail.

Since it's an SC. . .

. . that's really close to 17/8" (for the decimally impared)

Very nice. Thanks

Oh, yeah, you can just barely see it in the picture; the last "1" (of 911) lines-up with the center rib of the grill.

. . .I should add; the right side of the rib lines up, close to the right side of the "1" . . .but not quite exactly.
