not sure
I do know you can remove the squares ans tilt the seat back to desired angle then reinstall the square pins. Not sure if you can turn the pins while inserted to make it tilt.

^^^ Thanks. I’ll give it a try.
I was also thinking of shimming up the front of the seat, under the sliders. Anything to give me a little more seat back recline. |
yes, good solid washer would
do it. guessing you don’t have electric seat… try to use u thick washer safer and more stable then more than 1. |
^^^ I have electric seats, but with the electric seat back not working, I’m thinking of tilting the whole seat back. This will give me a little more leg support and more importantly, tilt the seat back some, for comfort.
I need to do more homework, to fix the problem. In the meantime, the spacers in front will give me what I need. Hopefully! |
what the problem?
Whats going on with the seat back? I know a lot about it..the hard way

It’s not something I would change often, so I just want to get it where it’s comfortable. |
some pictures
Im guessing you have a 6 way switch...Have you had the seat out and connected the 2 wires, purple and green, to the motor under the seat yourself? 2 wires come from the switch and a 1 connector with 2 wires, 1 grey 1 black, goes to the connector that is coming from the seat back. Could be one of the 2 wires came off of the motor from the switch on the motor under the seat.

dont need the motor?
If you are not interested in the motor working and just want to leant it back. What you needto do is remove the long pin..take of he side covers, there is a small screw at the end of the pin in the hinge, gently unscrew the end DONT remove the screw from the pin, just unscrew it a little..I say gently cause you dont want to push it into the the shaft when unscrewing, when the screw comes out a little grab it and pull it out of the shaft on both then you can rotate the seat back freely. Put it in your desired incline...makd sure its the same on both side. There should be a white line that lines up on the hinge on each side you can use that as guide to make each side the same tilted angle. then pushe the pins back in and tighten screws. That should do it.
