Mid 70s Blaupunkt Radio Function Question

Hello
My 76 has its original radio and I don’t think it’s working correctly but I don’t know for sure how it’s supposed to work.
You’ll notice in the video when I hit the FM buttons it is not engaging the FM section of the dial and from what I can tell it’s just staying in AM.
Thanks for any advice about how it should work and what might be wrong.

You might be right.

Blaupunkt started sometime to deliver separated US versions from their radios. Don't know details and when. If not before 1977 yours might be a model "Münster".When you take it out there should be type sticker with model name, production and serial number.

Here's a list of 1976/77 radios in Germany;

A versatile (vintage) car audio specialist should be able to repair it.
