993 VRAM ECU wiring harness
I am in the process of putting a 3.6 VRAM out of a 1996 993 into a 1979 911SC. The ECU already came with the immobilizer removed. I am wondering if anyone that has done this before can tell me how much of the wiring harness running from the ECU back to the engine harness I need to keep? I would like to thin the harness out as much as possible and drop any connectors I don't need. I plan on pairing the ECU harness with the Patrick Motorsports 3.6 DME engine conversion interface. Thanks in advance, I searched around and couldn't find a thread that specifically answered this question.

I think most people just leave it alone. Not worth the hassle/aggravation or weight savings to open up a harness and pull out a few strands of wire.

Are there any alternatives to using this PMS interface harness when installing a 993 3.6 into a 911SC?
