Cracked Evap Box
In the interest of trying to save money, wondering if it is worth my time to try and fiberglass patch up my cracked Evaporator box, or am I wasting my time and I should just hunt down a new one -
Looks like it was previously patched on one of the corners and it is not fully sealed, and then I put a crack in it and broke off the drain plug pulling it out... ![]() I found one for ~$200 on ebay - but if patching works, I'd rather not spend the money ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those plastic weld kits with little staples you heat up work surprisingly well

I don't see why patching would not work. It's just containing air and the evaporator condensate.

If your talking about part 911 201 077 02 in the fender, I see used from 50 to new for about 120.
I would replace with another good one.
