Removing speed for odometer gear replacement
 

Hi I forget how to disconnect these wires?
Can anyone help?

Simply pull out of the instrument

Pocket knife blade under the rim and twist. That way you don't pull the wires off and leave the socket.

those are for the speedo illumination, you pry under the entire metal lip of the bulb out which is press fit in. pry under the small lip to remove the entire assembly as one piece. the metal sheathing acts as the ground to the housing. do NOT pull on the wiring itself.
