993, 964 interchangeable parts
Trying to figure out what parts off my 964 engine can be used with a 993 (964 is in a 1980 911, using a 915 trans).
- Will the fan housing work? Looks like they have different parts numbers: - 993 106 667 01 and 964 106 667 02 |

I should elaborate, I have a complete 964 and a 993 long block, with v-ram intake.
So, trying to figure out, other than the intake, what can I reuse from the 964 (distributor, fan and shroud, engine cover…). Seams like 993 parts are a bit more scarce than the 964. Thanks |
