1972 911 broken head stud

I need to drill out one head / exhaust stud on my 1972 911. Anyone want to sell their Stomski stud repair kit or rent it to me for an hour? I am in Longmont Colorado but would be happy to pay freight both ways and a reasonable user fee. Thanks!

Case Savers are the better fix. These magnesium blocks get brittle over time. Not a huge cost difference. Chris 73 911 E

Case saver for a broken exhaust stud? Edit - I see the original title of the thread mentioned head stud instead of exhaust stud. Last edited by stownsen914; 03-19-2025 at 12:53 PM..

3x the size of the helicoil. Did all of them on my 73 E. If your gonna fix it, fix it peeminitly. Also, make sure all the studs are steel. The alloy ones break. Chris
