MFI drive cam seal
I am replacing a leaking MFI drive cam seal and have received two parts that appear to have different outside diameters . . which is correct? The Elring is 35x47x7 and the Porsche seal has no diameter on it but is smaller OD.

MFI engines used 47mm cam housing, so 47 it is.

Depending on which cam housing you are using. A later cam housing is 49mm.
