Torsion bar covers

I just purchased these torsion bar covers:

Torsion Bar Cover and Seal
Part #: PEL-RDP281

Despite their significant expense ($45 each) I am extremely disappointed. Perhaps grinding, and a bunch of sanding might get rid of the bulging underlying weld points, but I should not have to do that at this price. It's true that they sit low, not in your direct line of sight, and somewhat obscure, but nonetheless, for that kind of money I would expect this small metal piece to be perfect with no flaws. See my picture below. s
