Polishing fuchs question - trouble getting that final mirror finish

I'm working on some 3-pc fuchs that need refurbishing and the outside barrels just won't shine up that last 5%. I've hand sanded up to 2000 grit and polished with Wenol they look nice but still uneven and a bit hazy. Any tips are welcome.

Are the barrels cast or forged?

I don't know I think they are BBS barrels they were made by Jae Lee years ago.

Power ball or cone shape with mothers mag polish.
