help before buying

Need help before buying a 72 S

engine number in the car is 63825 ?

Philippe - engine number for a '72 S should be 7 digits in the range:

632 0001 - 632 2586

unless it was one of the rare '72 S Sportmatics where the engine number would be in the range:

632 9001 - 632 9147

Philippe, those numbers don't match anything in my book..

Chasis for a 72S should be 9112300001 to 9112301750 for a Coupe or 9112310001 to 9112310989 for a Targa
Engine should be 6320001 to 6322586 for a Coupe or 6329001 to 6329147 for a Targa

Hope this helps
