Dansk Heat Exhanger Exhaust Conversion Kit 911SC

Has anyone installed this kit on their 911SC?

https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/1620000310DSK.htm?pn=1620000310-DSK&SVSVSI=577&DID=248927

I’m in the process of installing it now but it seems like the heat exchangers are thin flange whereas the SC requires thick flange heat exchangers. It’s very odd since the Pelican Parts site says that it fits my car. Does anyone have a workaround?

What year is your car? Specifically when is the build date. Some SCs need thin and some need thick but it depends on the build year

You can change the exhaust studs to shorter studs.

You can use a short metal tube spacer of your design on the long studs to save a lot of hassle.

Thank you John, appreciate the advice as always! As a follow-up, what about the clearance in other areas such as the crankcase, re-routed oil line, and tensioner housing? I have about a 15mm gap (difference between the thin and thick flange exchangers) with the ports because the heat exchanger is bumping up against these areas. Do I just need to bend the heat exchanger to fit? And what about the additional MFI port? Can that be sealed somehow?
