What is the small tank above the washer reservoir?

Something to do with fuel? Can it be removed?

Help, please.

Thanks.

Has anyone relocated the tank, or installed a different one in a different location?

..because I never took the fuel "Breather/Overflow Tank" act/part mfg. seriously poor Scott is wasting his time re Engineering two mineless systems on his helpless 911.. it's a hot rod unit.

There are some nice fuel "Breather/Overfill Tank" units around.. and as of now, SummitRacing.com doesn't have it in the hard catalog.

so !

I thought I needed the fuel overflow tank to pass smog inspection. Am I mistaken?

Thanks for your help.
