I’ve been searching here and in my Bentley book for the torque on the Supply side Cap.
Anyone know? I want to be sure to crush the copper washers properly! ![]() |

Tight enough not to leak, and just a teensy bit more. Go by mechanic's feel.

If you need a number, go with 8-10 ft lbs. BTW, It looks like there is teflon tape on the tank fitting. As the sealing takes place at the ball of the fitting not the threads, tape is not needed.

Off topic a bit, but I am replacing my pump right now and looking at the PET there is a foam insulator for the fuel pump. Does it go between the bracket and the pump or on the side that just the clamp touches the pump?

What looks like tape is just the color under the black undercoat. There was tape masking it then that came off before fitting installation. Yeah definitely no teflon tape used 👍🏻
