Its nice...

Spent some time today reading my Bentley manual. I've got to say that its nice to own a car that is designed to be worked on and designed to last. Quite a change from anything affordable that can be bought these days.

I just won an Ebay auction this morning for a Bentley manual. I can't wait to get it. $50 delivered... I love Ebay!

Meant to be worked on??? I've spent most of the day removing/replacing the AC blower motor. I'd like to find the person that decided the evaporator, blower, and relay should go in the smugglers box........we'd have a little chat...!

Ya, but try to work on most modern vehicles. I had to move the engine to replace the wiper motor on my Crown vic.

I just replaced the shift linkage bushings and the job took between one and two hours.

I did find it a challenge to get a couple of spark plugs out when I changed them I must admit.

I've gotta say that its also nice how many things can be done on the cheap. Of course engine work does not fall into that category.
