Strange Elec Short on Longhood

Got a strange one for you guys today.

When pressing the brake pedal to activate the brake lights on my '70 911, the driver side city light (euro car) in the front turn signal illuminates. Not the passenger. Very odd.

Any thoughts on where I should start digging? TIA!

Grounds. Clean and check all grounds circuits and points. Then look for miswired circuits or broken lines shorting to ground. Also check the fuse bus for clean contacts, secured points, and correct rated fuses.

I couldn't fathom why a city light should be within any brake light circuit, but Porsche electrical engineering is fairly woeful in places.
