LOL Thom, if you are ever planing on rolling the fenders on the 911, you talk to us first huh.

My next car, I hope, to accompany the 911 will be a Karman Ghia cabriolet. Beautiful body and all those lovely cheap, easy to work on VW bits underneath...

I learned to drive a stick on my dad's fork lift on construction sites. Is that good training for the 915? The 944s I had sure weren't.

LOL, that's the first time I've heard the architect/construction term used for a car. Appropriate though. For those that are uninitiated, hvac= heating, ventilation, air conditioning. Now try this> DWV, do we have this on our cars? (hint: another construction term) Might need it on a Pinto, hehe.

That's the Racer Walsh Pinto IIRC.

Yep, they used to be quite popular with the SCCA and small (dirt)track "formula 4" cly. crowd because of their low cost (and low weight), but since it's not considered a collector car, most have been sent to the crusher.

I think one of the DC area scca regions still have the GTP class (grand touring pinto).

One of the limiting things w/ a pinto is that you can throw all kinds of money at it, and it might handle pretty good, but it's still a pinto :D
