Where's the fuel return line ?
Hi,
Am trying to test my fuel pumps and the manual suggests to test the volume by disconnecting the return line on the left side of the engine compartment. Is that one of the hard lines to the fuel accumulators or ??? TIA... BTW - anyone knows the exact location of the rear fuel pump on the 930?

Patrick,
The return line is in the back left of the engine compartment. There are three lines that carry fuelin this same spot. You are looking for the one that goes to a rubber line to the firewall. It is the only one that does not attach to either the accumulator or the filter. The rear pump is just inside the left rear wheel well tucked under a rock shield. Jack your car up in the rear and stick your head just in front of that tire and you cant miss it. If you need pics let me know and I will post them.

Lendaddy, thanks for the description. Will go home & try to locate it tonight. Your description seems straight forward enough.
On a similar note, I'm actually diagnosing the problem where the 12V wire to from pin 30 of the fuel pump relay to the fuse panel is "burning itself" slowly. Leads me to think that one of the 2 pumps is drawing too much current. I have just replaced the front pump so suspect it might be the rear? In any case, thought maybe I should at least do the volume test first... but any suggestions are welcome.
