![]() ![]() For those of you who want an original look to your motor, here is what I offer: ![]() These are Re-Makes of original customer "Main Tee" lines that were compromised from age and conditions and sent to me for this work. The assemblies are stripped and the fittings sent out for Yellow Zinc plating. When I have them back I assemble them on a fixture that insures a correct and "Factory Fitment". They are pressure tested and returned to the customer. These are considered "As Factory" or better by those who know my products, since ALL Hoses assembled by me are E-85 Rated and from the original hose supplier to Porsche in Germany. I hope this helps. For info, please email me ONLY. Len.Cummings at verizon.net ![]() PS - I also Re-Make CIS Fuel systems with the same attention to detail. Please inquire. ![]() ![]() With the prices continuing their upward spiral, I thought I should make up a few more on an exchange basis...... ![]() ![]() These are Re-Hosed from originals that were turned back to me as cores. I have enough to send them out exchange. As long as I get back the originals in restorable condition I can continue doing this. Please inquire, the prices are reasonable compared to new. Email only please: len.cummings @ verizon.net but without the spaces. Thanks for looking. Len ![]() |

Len, I’m very interested in new fuel lines as well. I’ve sent you a few emails but suspect perhaps I’m getting “rerouted” to your junk folder! Title of my email is “ still making fuel lines?” Perhaps you may find me in your spam/junk folder. Hope all is well. -David

I put the full set of Len's lines in my 84 Targa. Len does quality work and the result is excellence.
The engine lines have a factory stock appearance with modern rubber inside that can stand up the ethanol. I even sent in the green fuel return hardline that has the foot or so of soft line crimped on...Len was able to crimp a new hose with the correct fittings on the original factory hardline. I have no leaks and am very happy with the result. |

I can’t say enough about your work Len. I just got done pulling my new lines from you through the tunnel. Pretty effortless. Just need to route them to the fuel filter area to be ready for the engine replacement. The front side is all hooked up to fuel pump and the tank goes back in this weekend. You make amazing lines. Big thanks

The soft rubber line is crimped onto the green hardline. If you want to replace the rubber portion of that line you need to remove the whole assembly and send it to Len. I've been told that this line is not prone to leaking but I figured that while I had the engine out I would get all the lines done at once. The first picture below shows some of my fuel lines in the box as delivered from Len after he worked his magic. The blue arrow shows the fuel return line, the green portion is steel and the black portion (which is crimped onto the steel portion) is a rubber line with a flexible plastic sheath. The second picture below shows my son working in the engine bay. You can see the flexible black portion of the fuel return line just in front of his right bicep and indicated with a blue arrow. The third picture below shows where the fuel return line connects to the output of the fuel pressure regulator on the engine. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thank you for the detailed photos and description. I've got replacement lines from Len but haven't installed them yet. I didn't realize there was another one I missed. Is that line difficult to remove - engine in or out?

It is a little tricky to remove.
I'm not sure you can remove it intact with the engine in. With the engine out, it took quite a bit of room to rotate it in order to get it out. If the engine/transmission are in, you could get it out, but you would have to cut it. I think Len offers an all soft line replacement for this engine to tunnel fuel return line. If so, you could probably cut the old line out and install the new all soft line easily with the engine in. Check with Len to be sure. Last edited by ErrorMargin; 03-20-2025 at 09:54 AM.. |
