Frequency valve for 911 (1980) SC 3 liter

Hi,
I own a Porsche 911 SC (1980), engine code 901 106 10 5R, and I need to replace the frequency valve PN 93011009501.

The car starts but then the engine immediately shuts off.
According to the mechanic, the frequency valve needs to be replaced.

I'm from Europe and I'm searching around the web but I can't find the replacement.
The part is listed in the pelican part catalogue but not longer available.

Do you think that this valve is the problem?
Do you know where I could find it? Shipment from USA are ok.

I read in this forum https://www.pff.de/en/thread/2815196-cold-start-valve/?pageNo=1 that the valve is the same as the bosch one PN 0280150300. Do you agree? Is it true? Could I buy one of this, since it appears to be available on ebay?

thanks

Looks like the only test is to check ohms (2-3) across the 2 contacts, did your mechanic do this. FV's are very reliable and don't often go bad. I would test yourself before going down this route or check with another mechanic.

Edit: I do think the car will run but extremely poorly if the FV is bad.
