Bosch 250 P21 Equivilant

The 250 P21 is the spark plug recommended by Stoddard for my engine after they rebuilt it many years ago. Anybody know of an equivilant plug by Bosch or NGK? Thanks. -- Curt

NGK B8ES (Ed Mayo suggestion)
NGKB8EV (NGK catalog for :"S")
Bosch WR5DP (Bosch replacement for W265P21) as the book called for the '72 S.

Paul, with my ultra-low compression (7.5:1), I'm wondering if the 'S' plugs are best. Somebody recommended a WR9DP. I'm wondering if that is close to what Stoddard originally spec'd. -- Curt

Well, this is interesting. Pulled the plugs out this morning and 1-4-5 had 250 P21's while the 2-3-6 had W4DP0's! Are these equivilant?

The condition was consistant on all plugs - black, which was expected since the car runs rich. The plugs are at least 3-4 years old. Put in a set of WR5DP and there is a very noticeable difference. We'll see how they hold up. -- Curt
