1972 911 t ignition switch wires

Replacing the electrical portion of my ignition switch on a 72 911T, cap comes off the connector .. all the wires fall out! I don't know which wire goes where . . I need help! I found a pic of a 70 switch but it is different than mine. The wires are mostly red . . how can I tell which goes where??????????

Thanks Gerakroo .. I will add it to the other info I have and maybe get it right. Do you know what year that is for?

Gerakroo . . I have got the new switch in place and put power to it and now everything comes on . . ie fuel pump . .e brake and oil lights but the key is not in . .. I must have something miss wired but don't see it. Any ideas? I dont have a red/yellow wire . . they are all just red except for the red/black. If I reversed wires at 30 -3 and X would that do it?

If you don't have a red-yellow wire it should be an earlier version (1970-1971) which has no red-yellow wire.

From the 6 pole connector you have:

2 thick red wires (connected to 30-1 and 30-2)

The wire coming from the (ignition connector) that does not lead to the 6 pole connector (red) must be connected to X

One red wire (the one coming from pin 1 on the male connector goes to 30-3

I10 (pin R dunne draad) is a thin yellow wire and goes to "R" (Radio)

Thanks Gerakroo . . you are a lifesaver. The new Uro switch came apart in my hands as I tried to remove the connector. This little job has become a nightmare!
