Question 85 carrera cabriolet radio wiring

1985 911 carrera cabriolet with blaupunkt radio. The radio will not hold the channel when turned off. There are two wires coming from the bundle. One for the main power and then one with a fuse. Is that one supposed to go the continuous power terminal of the radio as indicated in the radio owners guide. ( I have the guide for the radio but not for the car ) There is also a black wire coming out of the harness with the antenae wire. "sorry for the spelling" There is also a large brown wire which I assume is the ground. All worked fine till I tried to pull the radio to check for a non functional right speaker. The speaker works OK and the radio works OK. I don't have good definition front to rear and the car had a factory AT&T cell phone. I think the problem may be in the cutout for the cell phone. Would I be better off to just rewire all the speakers.

not sure on the factory cell phone......maybe someone has a schematic on this.

the thin black wire on the antenne lead needs 12v+ for the antenne booster (should be connected to blue wire on blau, as with most all aftermarket radios)

the thick brown wire is your ground.

sounds like your constant 12v+ wire is either on the switched ignition wire or a fuse in the underhood fuse panel is blown, does everything else in the car work?

if you don't have good audio "definition" you may have speakers out of phase......does it sound hollow and tinny?
