New 911 A/C Condensers from CSF & A/C Solutions

Most factory A/C condensers from the 70s and 80s are now outdated in both design and materials. They were originally designed for R12 refrigerant, which offered far superior performance compared to today’s more environmentally friendly R134a. Even a brand-new OEM condenser is not efficient enough to provide a proper temperature differential with R134a. That’s where A/C Solutions and CSF are here to help.

A/C Solutions is truly the expert when it comes to retrofit and update kits for classic European cars. With this knowledge and experience, they have leveraged CSF’s decades of experience designing and manufacturing A/C Condensers. Together we’ve brought modern design and manufacturing techniques to these classic Porsche platforms. The results are condensers for the 911 SC, 3.2 Carrera, and 930 Turbo (front only) that fit perfectly, outperform the factory systems by a significant margin, and cost less than new OEM units.

A/C Solutions is developing complete, plug-and-play R134a conversion kits for the 911 SC, 3.2 Carrera, and 930 Turbo. These kits will be fully configurable to ensure you have everything you may need for a proper R12 to R134a conversion regardless of weather conditions.

3 New Condensers Available:

Great news……and what a shame you don't make one for use with a 3.2 a rear wiper. Many of them have a rear wiper. I took my wiper off years ago to add a micro tube condenser and it made a big difference in the A/C……and I miss my rear wiper. Great products though. Thank you for bringing new products to our old cars to modernize them.

Great news for those seeking cooler temps and a switch to readily available R134.

Has anyone on Pelican installed one of these rear condenser. If so what are your opinions

These are a fairly new product for 911s but Austin (AC Solutions) has been very successful making products for vintage BMWs. I bought a setup for my wife's e30 and will likely pick up a condenser for dad's SC.

New 911 A/C Condensers from CSF & A/C Solutions

Curious how these work when at a standstill in traffic. All stock system, I use Enviro-Safe, so my car gets pretty cool but no fans means I need the car to be moving. I need something that cools while stuck in a traffic jam.

how do these compare to what Mr Griffiths is selling for our 911's?

Yes, I would like to know as well.

Comparing my OEM to Griffths, the OEM is significantly more material.

Buckeye 08-05-2025 03:31 AM

The rear condenser Griffiths sells is similar to the original. A few years ago I spoke with Griffiths and stated that a new modern condenser would dump more heat into the engine compartment
I contacted AC solutions and they stated their condenser would not raise the heat of your engine when compared to an old condenser
I few years ago I replaced my whole system with Griffiths and it is fantastic equipment
A bad compressor will require me to open up the system and I am thinking about replacing the rear condenser

Buckeye 08-21-2025 10:12 AM

I am not associated with AC solutions in any manner. I just got my 1987 back with their new rear condenser installed. It is very well built and looks like a significant upgrade from the factory original. My mechanic commented that it does not require any modifications and was impressed with the product.
No scientific data just my two cents worth
