911 to 935 GT3 style front End Upgrade
 
Target and Elephant Racing and Rebel Racing all offer a version of this upgrade.
Anyone with real time experience with any of these. Performance improvement, fit and finish comments.
Thinking of this upgrade when coverting to coilover front shocks.

Given that all the 935 style kits utilize spherical bearings, then the longevity of these joints is the question.
No doubt that suspension movements are more precise and the range of adjustments is increased.
Its an expensive upgrade that needs to be valued on what your needs are. Track only ? Awesome. Street only? IMHO not a long term upgrade

My 911 is a race car. When I bought it, the front suspension was Bilstein RSR with raised spindles (for 16 inch wheels), simple monoballs and factory arms with poly bushings.

The person that built my car raced in IMSA and is an expert on 911s.

One of the reasons I kept the control arm set up for a long time was durability. There was no benefit to changing to the 935 style set up that would result in significant performance enhancement, compared to other uses of my funds and efforts.

The car was set up to run 11x16 and 13x16 bias ply slicks, which required very modest camber.

Loved those tires.

I later needed to switch to radials for a new racing class, and I needed a bunch of negative camber. So my first decision was to buy a set of Tarett camber plates.

A great investment.

I was able to sell my monoballs to offset the expense.

Then I came across an opportunity to buy the 935-style control arms designed by CLE and sold by Tarett. They were in like new condition, and the installation created an opportunity for track increase and wider range of camber adjustment.

I would not have made these changes if my car did not need a bunch of negative camber for the radials (12x16 and 14x16).

I would never consider such a change for a 911 driven only on the street.

I always recommend the parts designed by CLE and sold by Tarett.

Go over to Early911 and search for ChrisP. He's running an ER GT3 front on a SWB. Then you need to figure brake upgrades...
