Question for the dash LED experts

I’ve done some searching and haven’t been able to find exactly what I am looking for.

PO of my car installed LED lighting in the dash, but did not update the turn signal indicators.

I know that I can source a complete set of interior dash LEDs for approximately $50 (which apparently includes the turn signal indicator bulbs), but am looking to merely upgrade the turn signal indicator lights in the dash, as mine are so dim that they are difficult to see during daylight hours.

Lots of stuff out there on EBay and similar sites, but there are too many choices. I’m looking for a tried and true LED or similarly BRIGHT solution. Just the indicator bulbs if possible.

I would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.

BA7s from carmagic might be what you need

Search for green BA7 LED Bulbs - you should be able to find some available separately

Non-obvious issue related to the turn signal bulbs: Sometimes the flasher circuit doesn't work correctly with LED indicators or LED bulbs in the turn signal housings. In those cases you need to swap the flasher relay with an electronic relay that doesn't rely on the heavier current for the timing.

After driving or miles with my left signal on, I decided it’s time to replace my dash turn signal indicators too - with brighter green LED’s, added new marker LEDs and the appropriate flasher module which is very important for LED signals work properly. Also added vintage style dash instrument lighting and a fused link at the ignition switch. Not know your setup, the entire could be cobbled together randomly.
I used and recommend CARMAGIC. They have kits for all 911 applications. Great customer service and knowledgeable to correct any problems, fast response via email and product shipping. He’s on the Forum.

+1 for Carmagic

If this is for a 76 911, the turn signal indicators use T5, wedge style bulbs. See picture below.

Thanks to all for the thoughtful and informative responses.

I apologize for not adding full details of my current situation.

Ambient gauge LED lighting installed by PO is by Carmagic.

To resolve a turn indicator “ghosting” issue I installed the appropriate LED friendly relay purchased from a member of this forum.

The Carmagic website does not offer (or I didn’t see them) the LED turn indicator bulbs as a separate option, but I could order the complete LED package that includes these bulbs. I admit it, I was lazy and didn’t reach out to them directly to see if I could order them separately. As the company is run by a forum member (I didn’t know this), I’ll do so.

Good info posted by respondents regarding the specific bulbs for my application. That’s very helpful!

This car is in overall decent shape, but definitely has some funky stuff done by the PO. Slowly sorting it out, the journey is half the fun!

The bulbs you need are at the bottom of this page, $2.50 each: https://carmagic.us/led-bulbs.html

Thanks Mark!

Not sure how I missed that, but I can always find a way to become more confused about life!

Appreciate the feedback, all!
