Help with window regulator repair and reinstallation 911 3.2

Hi everyone,*

I attempted to repair the window regulator in my driver's side door this morning.*

Upon removing it from the door, I noticed that the little pole that the spring holds tension on has snapped off and was lying at the bottom of the door.*

I also noticed that the track the window sits on was also sitting on the bottom of the inside of my door. Not sure how this happened without the window not falling down too.*

My question is what is the best way to replace the little pole and has anyone done it? I've found a few threads, but cafind specific bolt sizes etc. I also saw the host offers replacements, but how are these fitted if the original appears to be press fitted?

Would it be best to clean the regualtor with brake cleaner and regrease, or just leave the grease that is there?*

I also need to reseal the window plastic as it no longer sticks. Any recommendations?*

Thanks*
