Tightening 71T rear bumperette

What's the process to tighten the chrome bumperette on an early 911? I have one side that looks like it might need to get cinched up a little.

Do I need to remove the bumper? Can I get to the bolts behind the license plate valence without removing the bumper or muffler?

2 allen bolts under the top plastic plugs and 2 on the bottom. 5mm allen socket/wrench.

Tightening a chrome bumperette (aka bumper guard) on an early Porsche 911 (typically '65–'73) can be done without fully removing the bumper in many cases, but access is tight.

I should clarify. The bumperette is tight on the bracket, but one of them sticks out a little further than the other. The license plate valence is even on both sides, so I’m guessing the coach bars that were installed between the two bumperettes has moved it out further over time.

I looked behind the valence & I don’t see any bolts back there holding them on. I assume I’m going to need to drop the muffler to get a clearer view of the bracket that holds that bumperette close to the valence. I just need to pull it inwards about 1/4”.

Open engine lid
Remove white caps
Adjust as needed

So just loosening the allen bolts on the bumperette will allow me to push it closer to the valence?

EDIT: thanks for the advice. I loosened everything up & it pushed back in. Good as new!
