915 Transmission year/type investigation

I'm hoping someone out there in Pelican world can help me identify which transmission I have. It is a magnesium case.

The keel has been completely ground off so there is no transmission type or serial numbers available.

The bell housing has a casting number of 915 301 101 1R

The other casting number is 915 301 102 0R

I have uploaded some pictures to help.

Can anyone tell me around what year this transmission is from and the support for your answer???

What John says. 100mm drive flanges. Nyloc nuts tell us it’s been apart, I wonder if a LSD is installed as ALU tag would indicate.

I very much appreciate this. Please understand I am not a mechanic. This car came with LSD according to the build sheet. It is indeed a 1976 model. I was not aware that the aluminum tag indicated a limited slip.... I turn the drive flanges and the opposing side turns in the opposite direction... doesn't this mean that the LSD is not installed?

Yup, in neutral, with LSD, drive flanges would rotate in the same direction.

It’s really easy to pull the side cover and find out. A wornout factory lsd with no preload will sometimes behave like it’s open.
