Rear targa ”clips”

Hi

My innermost towards the center rear targa roof clips that hold down the roof material to the foldable bar keep slipping off, and they are only just holding as I put the roof on. Anyone else had this happen? The clips themselves don’t seem to have any adjustment or is there perhaps another way to get them further ”on” to the foldable bar?

Some photos to show what I mean, you can see they only just clip on but only just, and as soon as I drive they slip off.

Thanks in advance

The clips do have a minimal amount of back and forth adjustment. If you loosen the two screws that hold the clips in place you may be able to slide the clip a bit so it will engage better.

Someone also makes a longer clip that helps with your problem, but I don’t recall where to get them, maybe here on Pelican or do a search.

Thanks guys

Due to lots of other stuff going on (amongst them buying another 911 ) I didn’t get around to looking further into this until today. Removed the clips, had a look around, could find no adjustment and reassembled. Lo and behold… problem solved, they now hold on much tighter, makes no sense to me but problem resolved. I feel dumb… oh well.

Thanks anyway and hope this maybe helps someone else out in the future at least.
