Fuel pump no power

Hello, I have a 73 E , the engine turns but the fuel pump is not getting power. I have replaced the relay. I just left the ignition on to where the fuel pump light should come on
And after 30 seconds or so the light and pump were powered then nothing.
Has anyone had similar issues?
Thanks

The 1973 wiring diagram shows no relay or fuse. The power goes from the ignition switch directly to the pump. If the pump worked intermittently, you could have a pump going bad. When was the last time it ran, and what have you done since?

Thanks for the reply, I did find the problem
Bad wire connections at the fuse panel , fixed for now
But will eventually need some new wireing.
Cheers

The fuel pump wire is in the tunnel harness, its a 2,5mm2 red-green one and connected to the 7th fuse of the 10 pole fusebox. From the pump there's a small fuelpump harness connected to a 2 pole"T" shaped connector in the engine bay.
