wiring grommets, anyone have a list?
I have noticed that Porsche seems to exclude wiring harness grommets from the PET.
Does anyone make a list of all the rubber grommets in the car to help. I am currently going through the headlight / turn signal wiring on my 1986 930 and all the rubber grommets are trashed. I have found some VW substitutes for some, but not all of them. I will be working my way through the car and it would save a bunch of time if I had a reference. David |
Some VW part numbers that seem close, I may just add to this list as I order and try parts.
Grommets I have tried 1973-1979 VW beetle horn wiring grommet PN 113 941 189 works well to pass wires through inner fender into the frunk 1965-1979 VW beetle main harness grommet PN 111 971 907 works well to pass wires through inner fender into frunk 23-24mm hole grommets I may order and try. 1971-1979 VW beetle headlight wiring grommet PN 411 941 189 may be good to pass wires into the 911 headlight bucket 1968-1979 VW beetle Ignition turn signal grommet PN 311 971 909 1967-1979 VW beetle headlight wiring tubes PN 111941185C these are shown cut down in length for the super beetle cut each of these could be 2 different grommets |

When you buy new turn signals from Porsche the wiring harness includes one of these grommets. But no part number. I am aware that Kroon wiring harness has reproduced these grommets and call it KRO12
