Shoe polish on dash
Just wondering, anyone ever try Kiwi shoe polish on any kind of scuffs or imperfections on the lower dash section or the parts on top of the door panels to hide them? How’de it turn out?

IMHO ... shoe Polish smells horrible when using inside cars.
You'd better use a leather dye/colorant for car interiors.

Angelus Leather Dye in a bottle works ok. I did my rear seat leather. It takes a few coats and then a buff with a cotton towel. Amazon has it.

I have used shoe polish in the past and really liked the results.
It will fill in those small cracks also.

Wax or liquid? Leather or vinyl? Either way, not a good use of product.
Show polish - I don’t even like to use it on shoes. The color can transfer accidentally (black) onto light colored carpet, door panel pockets. |

Make sure you check the color match in an inconspicuous area before you apply.

Ha! I had to look that up !
Very entertaining movie, exemplifies the ingenuity of the greatest generation making-do with what’s available. Pebble Beach approved Kiwi paste of course. ![]() |
