CIS plastic fuel lines, how do ya replace them

Anyone have an idea how to replace these thin plastic fuel lines ? is there an update from these thin plastic lines to a better material ?

you must replace the whole line. They are not serviceable.

Late CIS lines are metal. Are they interchangeable? Also, aren't Euro lines all metal also? I would think that you could replace early plastic lines with the later metal ones.

There is a thread here http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=94209&highlight=cis+nyl on on this topic. You can do them yourself but it is a PITA.
