Armrest with grab handle on both sides

Hi guys,

Quick question, has anyone tried an armrest with grab handles on both sides?
I never really understood why these weren’t standard ... Or am I missing something?

Kind regards,

Haha, I should have known. Mine (a 1973 911T) is equipped with only one armrest with a grab handle, and I’m considering adding grab handles on both sides.

I bought an aftermarket one and it was kinda off. sold it. Later found an original on the PP 'used 911 parts forum for high dollar, but I had to have it for my '69. From a RHD counrty obviously. Beats closing the door by pulling on the lock knob.

Thanks for the info John, appreciate it. I'll try to check out the fitment and will return it if it's off like you said.

Kind regards,

David

I've been wanting one of those too for my 1973T. I noted that the Einmalig ad in Panorama shows a picture of a left side armrest with the handle. I've been meaning to call them.

John, what do you mean by "it was kinda off"? Who was the supplier? I want to avoid that mistake.
