Just a short note to confirm what others on this board have said....
Don't replace the old twin batteries on early cars with the same old lead/acid technology. I've just splashed out on a single 1200CCA Odyssey to replace my (only three year old) twin system. There is a distinct weight saving and power of these batteries is awesome. I don't think my car has ever started so responsively. Recommended ![]()

John,
Did you say 1200 CCA battery? Are you sure it wasn't just, CA? And how much does this lightweight weigh? Sherwood Lee http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars |

The odyssey pc1200 is 1200 CA not CCA. But John is right, these things put out very impressive power for their weight!

Oops, I meant CA!
I think the battery is about the same weight as a normal acid filled one, but given that I only need one (placed in what is MY passenger side {left}) I guess you could say I've halved my battery weight. I would have bought one of you Chuck had I been in the US.... Shipping would have been a killer!
