finally had a chance to rip open the packaging and take a peak, and the rear bars are very substantial - they dont look like they'll move too much
hopefully i'll get a chance to fit them soon.

Seems like last year on Pelican no one was talking about t bars this big.
I know guys that convert to coil overs use even higher spring rates. My 69 911 (RS flares) weighs 2200lb with me in it, R rated 245 and 275 size tires. The 21/30 t bars make the car easy to drive and somewhat competitive. I'd like to try the larger bars. They should be a good choice for a 911 that weighs more than mine. What are the specs on the car you are putting them on. Weight, tires, engine, are you planning to AX or track with R rated tires? I went to stiffer bars and raced it with yellow Bilstiens one race, Not Fun. I did get some revalved shocks from Mirage International (858 581 1101) in San Diego. Less compression/more rebound to control the stiffer bars. Best mod I ever made to my car. In a low traction parking lot AX mine still rolls some with the 21/30 combo.

ted,
mines a pretty std carrera. its a mostly street (just fun days)/some track (possible time trials) car. i have a handling problem, so i'm rebuilding, new shocks (wanna get them revalved to match bars), bushes, t/bars etc. then get a good alignment, and balance. i also have 930 brakes to fit. just want a great, fun, no compromise, street car at the mo. interesting comment on revalving the shocks, i think the sports i have will struggle with those bars...
