Request for pics of 911s with 50-series tires...
If anyone out there has 50-series tires on their early or mid-year narrow body cars, 74-77 specifically, could you post whatever profile photos you have? I need to see how much "space" is between the tire and fender. Lowered cars, stock ride height - anything will do...
Thank you.

Its an action shot. 1" below Euro ride height. 225/50X15's all the way around.

Thanks Vintage - great shot. I'm running 60-series now, and plan to drop down to 50s.
In your estimation, do you believe I'll have to adjust anything on the suspension, such as lower the car, alignment, etc? Thanks again.

You should lower the car a bit. When you put the 50s on the gap between the tire and fender will be a little unbearable. But if you lower the car, it will effect your alignment, camber and toe. Depending on how much you lower it though it may not big a big issue especially if it is just a daily driver. The 50s will make the gearing a little sportier. Which I am sure you will like.
