Does anyone need a Paint Job or Respray in Southern California?

I mostly do metal work on 911s, but I used to do a lot of paint jobs. I am doing just metal work right now, but I have been working on setting up a collaboration with a collision shop that I really like. I would help with the panel fitment, metal work, prep and they could focus on putting a beautiful finish on it. I always wanted a collaboration like this.

Let me know if anyone is interested. It is some really nice quality - factory looking texture out of the gun. Real deal stuff, not just hot rod wet sanded flat. Incredible booth, set up with Glasurit which people seem to love.

Let me know!

I moved to California last year and I am amazed how nice these 911s are out here, full media blast or dipping isn't a given, they can often be just finessed and resprayed out here, it doesn't make any sense to me being from upstate NY.

Best of luck to you, there is a lot of demand here for quality paint and metal work. I'm going to pass your name around to a couple of the mechanical shops I use, they are always looking for quality restoration talent. It's in short supply here.

Do you have a ball park of what it would cost for minimal body work and respray

Here are some photos from this morning. This is before any wet sanding or anything like that, this is right out of the gun.

A full restoration is possible as well. I have done complete restorations, but I am finding a lot of great cars out here that really only need a little finessing.

I have found some great media blasting facilities and there is a dipping place in Oregon. When a car is a rust bucket, dipping is best. I'd love to try some dry ice blasting for undercoating removal and finessing. Getting the chassis and panels cleaned and stripped appropriately is extremely important. Evey car is unique, so each project gets approached uniquely.

I can help you size up your car and come up with a plan.

Any projects or ideas you have, let me know. Call, text, email

Good luck with your business venture David, its getting harder and harder to find decent hands on talented and conscientious craftsmen out there today.
