76 911 wiring harness question

My friend got a 76 and we are trying to figure where the wiring harness thru the interior is supposed to be. The only pics I have for now is of the rear seat exit which doesn't seem correct...but I can't find a good thread for this question.

All wiring from front to rear runs through the center tunnel, this can be the tunnelharness, battery cable, but also wiring for the AC clutch and rear wiper.

Okay, so do you know what goes thru the hole in my picture? I have seen in other threads wiring going thru it??

I have a 76 coupe and no grommet in that location. My rear panel appears to be a little different shape. Is his a Targa? If so, perhaps it’s the defrost wiring grommet? Just a guess.

No, this is a coupe. Okay, it was just one or two pics that I saw wiring in a hole there but it made no sense to me since how do you get the upholstery down over it.

The main harness runs through the tunnel and out by the passenger side, it curves up under the torsion bar tube and then behind the firewall and across to the rear fuse panel. There's nothing there on the stock car to my knowledge. The rear defrost comes from a tiny hole at the bottom of the drivers side rear window and threads over to the fuse panel.

That appears to be added by a PO who also resprayed the panel as that is not a stock finish either.
