Poor aftermarket HBT Window frame connection

I recently bought these.

I can't figure out how to leave a review so I'll leave it here.

I've wasted a day trying to make them fit. They have the top screw holes slighty towards the front of the car compared to the originals. The result is no matter what you do you can't get the window frame to close up completely and you can actually see light between the frame and the rear of the window glass and seal.

The only way I could see of making them close the frame was to rivet them on the other side of the frame, but then the seal channel won't fit.

Unfortunately I'm in Australia so the idea of returning it is slow and more expense than it's worth.
I ended up having to file the threaded holes out to make them into adjustment slots, then used the threaded plate from the old piece to use for the screws to clamp to.
