Mysterious Wire

Does anyone know what this wire and female connector go to? I cannot trace it as it goes into a main harness. The wire is Black/Green and Brown and it is located by the right front hood strut. The connector has a green dot on it.

Yes you are correct the frunk wire is over there but it is connected already to its correct male connector. My antenna is in the windshield and my radio pulls in stations fine. But I will check that tomorrow to see if I can find where the antenna connection is located. Thanks to both of you for the responses.

Black and green is right front turn signal. I would say that connector is for Euro cars with the turn signal on the fender. The location is right and I've seen a pic of the light harness and it does have a connector like that.

@SiliconeSurfer, that looks correct but my car is not EU version, but maybe Porsche only used one part number for the body harness and options not elected or NA vs RoW models all used same harness. If this is in fact true I should find another unused connector on the left side of the car. I shall look for that and report back. Thank you for reply!

My 86 is a NA and I recently installed side markers because the wiring harness is there. Just letting you know they are installed and work well.

@SiliconSurfer & Fallingat12omph yes you are both correct I verified with another 1988 at a PCNA event. Looked where mine is on the right side and his had the same thing, femal connector with green dot on connector. Funny thing is though I have looked on the right side and can’t seem to find that one. Mystery is solved! Thank you both for your replies!
