Common Questions about PADM_PopoRacing

Some people have raised the following questions:

1.When the PADM sensor is dislodged, throwing the PADM code, does the PADM stay in full soft mode (no current to the fluid)? Or does the fluid still get current, and reverts to full rigid mode?

2.what happens to the other PADM when one fails. Do you know, by any chance? Does it stay fully operational? Or since one failed, does the other revert to SOFT as well?

3. Do I have to replace it after PADM failure?

-It's in a fully soft state. A chip detaches, and the internal circuitry becomes current-free. It can suddenly stretch or compress to its limit, which can produce an unusual noise, a sharp click, and vibration at high speeds.

-The other side works normally, but it usually breaks down after a short time because only one side is working, which puts a heavy load on it.

-If you don't need to drive aggressively or race on the track, you don't need to replace it; it won't have much of an impact on daily commuting. However, if you do need to drive aggressively, it's strongly recommended to replace it because this is a very important function of the Porsche SC package. This function is a feature of Porsche's track technology, and it's not available on regular Porsche sports cars; only high-end models have it.
Moreover, replacing it isn't difficult, as there are better replacement parts available.PopoRacing PADM Sensor
