MoMo

I installed a 37MM (same as original) MoMo wheel with the adapter that recreates the offset like the original because I have long legs. It really looks amazing.

Welcome to the club!

I’m 6’-4” and it was the first thing I did when I bought my car last December. Then I modified the shifter.

That’s a heck of an extension, plus your wheel is a deep dish, a T-rex could drive it.

Long legs and torso, but short arms! Anyway, I’ve done this to all my cars, and I find it comfortable.

The wheel and hub directly from Momomotorsport, the offset adapter from Pelican and the horn button of eBay.

Anyone know if the Porsche Classic Performance Steering Wheel is the same thing as the black Prototipo with just the Porsche name added?

Looks like it but it only comes in 35cm.

Yes, plus a Porsche emblem on the horn button.

BTTT, I guess height and personal preferences come into play here. I am much shorter, and much prefer that I can reach the turn signal stalk while holding the steering wheel.

On flat steering wheels (like the Momo Jet), the L231 adapter works, but with the dished Prototipo or Mod 07, you might want the C231.

MoMo

Did the same along with lengthening the shifter. Major comfort and ease improvement.

Recently actually swapped to a 380mm prototipo - shoulda done this a decade or two ago! Huge difference btwn 370 and 380. No wonder many pro racers preferred larger diameter 380.

Ayrton Senna was famous for using a large wheel. They even had to adapt the car to accommodate.

Neat anecdote, makes sense once you try out 350mm v. larger. Less twitchy and easier to make rapid micro adjustments.

But to follow your thread, the hub extension is terrific. In regards to lengthening the shifter: obviously longer means a longer throw; however, with a short shift kit installed, the longer throw is pretty much eliminated. No more leaning forward to shift is an ergonomic consideration I wonder how Porsche overlooked for decades.

I really dislike small wheels. I went from the stock SC wheel to a 350mm Momo on an extended hub because the stock wheel was much too far away. The Momo was usefully closer, but too small. I then replaced that with a 370 Momo, which I like much better. I’d like a 380 Victor even better, and the Victor adapter would bring the wheel even closer.

FYI, Achtungkraft makes aluminum stalk replacements that keep the stalk ends closer to the wheel when extended hubs are used.

FWIW, i've been wanting to list a 380 victor with victor to momo adaptor for quite a while but all the rest in life has been higher priority. Feel free to send me a DM if you're interested.
