Hey team, I hope everybody’s doing great tonight. Just wanted to post a picture of the massive Clay Dopke intercooler post cleanup and also share that I’m inching closer to firing up the BB auto, Belgian 930 turbo. Enjoy.

So your car started in Europe, got bb treatment, moved to the states at some point, then back to europe (Nico?), and now it's back in the states??

MTN930 that looks amazing. I’ve got plenty of work do….polishing is gonna be phase 2 😎

JIM2…Delivered new Germany 07/81…bb_auto treatment 04/85…exported 02/86 w17k miles to new owner(PCA GUY, New Jersey)…Clay Dopke Bavarian Coach Werks treatment 1987(Beast Mode:-)…driven hard 1987-1991 at PCA events and on the racetracks of PA/NJ/NY…1991 appears to be the beginning of this 930s long slumber. Mileage is now 34,921 on clock. Tires are date coded 3390 and the sharpie scribbles on the oil filter say 32,200 miles, 07/04/90, Mobil 1 15w/50…930 slept until being sold from NJ owners to Gallery Junction in CA in 2016…no action taken until 2020 sale to collector in the Nederland and exported back to Europe 2020…Arlo and Nico acquire car in 2025…Nico sells car to me Oct ‘25 and I bring it back to USA,…Nov 4 it leaves Belgium on Yantian Express and it arrives in Savannah Nov 17…gets to my shop Nov 23…motor now spinning like a top and close to fire up. It’s been an exciting 60 odd days with fun days ahead and a full restoration planned. Have a great day.

That is some interesting history, complete history no less. Not many genuine 34K miles 930s remaining.

I'm glad the car reached you well and found a good home. Can't wait to see it come back to life!
