Hopefully that's 91k klicks & not miles. I've always wanted a white car with white rims.

Cheap Cheap. To bad it's in Italy. That's probably why it went very cheap!!! I bet the high bidder thinks it is in the US and got a smokin deal. The winner is located in the US.

I would bet that it is 91k miles, as the VIN listed is for a US car. Still, any way you slice it, $18k is dirt cheap for a 1987 turbo cab!

That said, there has apparently been a LOT of fraudulent listings on eBay recently, with sellers/merchandise supposedly located in Europe (specifically Italy). The scumbags pirate some unsuspecting member's ID, and post a listing for a high-dollar item. Then after the auction ends, the "seller" requests the bid amount, or even just the deposit via wire service/Western Union, then they move on to the next victim.

Yeah...Im wondering why the reserve was set so low...and whether its an actual turbo and not a turbo look (I didnt check the VIN).... Also... not many pictures either... He does have a good ebay rating, most as a buyer some as seller. Anyway I like the car and its a good deal at that price.

Good call Sonic, I didn't even think of that! It just so happens that the VIN listed is NOT a turbo VIN. So even if it is legit, it's still a false listing, as it is a turbo-LOOK car. Still wouldn't be a bad price though.

Maybe its the famous "Porsche 919". Legend has it that in 1987, Porsche engineered the 911 of the future, it was meant to be a limited production 8 Cyl Turbo, with Anti Lock brakes. Only 2 were ever made. One was wrecked/burned up during testing. The other disappeared off the back lot in Stuttgart....

in Europe these are not very popular. I know someone who bought one for 23.000 and it had only 85.000 kilometers on it. So 18.000 for one with 150.000 kilometers on it is a normal price in Europe i guess. The white doesen,t help aswell, most europeans including me would never buy a white one

it says "Carrera" on the back so it's not a Turbo....as falsely advertised.

It's an 8 cylinder with ABS and it looks like a US model which happens to be located in Italy. I'll wire the money right away sir, it's a gem

During the 80s and 90s we had A LOT of white cars in Europe. Thus they're not very popular today. My 84 was originally white. I had it resprayed in artic silver. I like white, but arctic silver is my favorite colour.

To me that's a lovely car, I have always liked white, hence my car, but I know a lot of people who don't like white.

Each to their own I guess!!

Cheers Jakes
